What’s Included:
Perks
Always be the first to know about news, updates, changes, or new sessions. When applicable, you will gain access to schedule sessions on days or times not available to others in order to accommodate you. Free or discounted merchandise when applicable.
Discounted Classes
While being fairly compensated for a service is important, making that service accessible to those that need it is also significant. EA is committed to making classes more affordable by discounting 20% or more (across the board). For those with excruciating circumstances, pay-what-you-can may be available.
Mentorship (Youth)
It’s incredibly important to have a supporter in your corner that reminds you of the power you have. It’s impactful to be spoken to with concern, care, and genuineness. It’s necessary that BIPOC Youth are given the support and encouragement needed to create and attain goals, practice self-care, and navigate a weird and scary world. I am here for it all and will be a lifelong resource as long as I am able.

Mentorship/Encouragement
It’s incredibly important for young people to have an encouraging and motivating mentor. Knowing that someone believes in them boosts confidence, goal achievement, and communication skills. As a mentor, I am a source of support for personal, academic, and/or artistic success. My mentorship style includes check-ins, goals, creative self-esteem building, and holistic wellness. It’s important for them to know that they hold infinite power, and it is my goal to assure and focus that power into actionable steps and personal well-being.
Education and Career Building
One of the areas lacking in common education is career-building. There are thousands of careers spanning several career fields. Those with knowledge about the possible opportunities awaiting them are more likely to find a fulfilling and passionate career than those who are unaware of them. With the aid of assessment tools, speakers from chosen fields, and expressed interest, we will find the career possibilities matched to them and their interests. I will also research and communicate resources for any apprenticeships, internships, or opportunities within those areas and am happy to serve as a reference and cheerleader.
Skills and Holistic Wellness
Other important skills include time management, finances for 16+, responsible social media, technological etiquette, job searching, and organization skills. We also focus on the importance of daily/weekly physical activity, how to navigate an overwhelming world, and self-preservation. Combining care for mind, body, and heart helps to enrich experiences and put the mentee at the front and center of their own lives.
